The Ministry of Finance held the Long Service Medal Presentation in conjunction with His Majesty the Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam's 79th Birthday celebration. The medals were awarded in recognition and appreciation of the officers and staff who have served for over 20 years, aside from appreciating their service and dedication. It took place at the Ministry of Finance in Commonwealth Drive, 20th June afternoon.

The medals were presented by Yang Berhormat Dato Seri Setia Doctor Awang Haji Mohd Amin Liew bin Abdullah, Second Minister of Finance. 45 people received the medal comprising officers and staff of the Ministry of Finance and its department, as well as from His Majesty the Sultan's Flight Office. Also present, Pengiran Datin Seri Paduka Hajah Zety Sufina binti Pengiran Dato Paduka Haji Sani, Deputy Minister of Finance.
